Applications are available at the circulation desk. Please bring picture ID and proof of current Dallas address. (Call the Branch with any questions)
  • Public Computers
There are 16 internet computers-25 minute sessions; 4 children's computers-25 minute sessions; and 2 resume/word processing computers-55 minute sessions.  PCs are reserved at the self-serve reservation station or at the information desk. Library cards or internet cards are needed for self-service reservations.
  • WiFi
The wireless internet access offered is unfiltered. By choosing to use this free service, you agree to abide by the Dallas Public Library Internet Acceptable Use Policy. This policy states the limitations of internet access, your responsibilities for using that access, and provides examples of acceptable and unacceptable uses. 

    Laptop Setup Instructions are available at the library for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and MacIntosh.

  • Volunteer Opportunities
Opportunities for volunteer work are dependent on the needs of the library staff at a particular time.  Testing is required for specific jobs and training time and supervision are critical. Contact the assistant manager for more details.
  • Meeting Rooms
          Check with the Assistant Manager for meeting room availability and rental procedures.
  • Exhibit Display Case
Monthly displays in the entrance hall exhibit case feature a wide range of subjects of interest to children and adults. Categories in the past have included toys, crafts, photos, glassware, patriotic memorabilia, etc. If you have a collection you think would be of interest or would like to make a suggestion, please contact Sue Willman, the volunteer exhibit case coordinator at suewillman@cowtown.net
